Tubbs follows Calderone inside the club.

"Streetwise" (S3 E10)

The scenes in the Checkers Club and its rear entrance on Collins Court. Silk (played by Wesley Snipes) picks up his friend in a Mercedes. Crockett shoots Silk.

"Knock Knock, Who’s There" (S3 E21)

Esteban Montoya’s club. Montoya was played by actor Ian McShane.

The club was also the location for scenes in “Deliver Us From Evil” (S4 E21), “Honor Among Thieves” (S4 E16), “Death and The Lady” (S4 E3), and the Miami Vice movie. Additionally, the club was once owned by Prince between 1994 and 1996 and was named Glam Slam Club East.

The Carlyle Hotel

This location is featured in the opening credits showing two bikini-clad women walking down the hotel steps. It was also used as a location for several episodes.

“Brother’s Keeper” (S1 E1)

The first Miami location shown as such in the series is at The Carlyle. It was also the location where Sonny Crockett first appeared and where Crockett and partner Eddie Rivera waited for Corky Fowler on the steps.

"One Eyed Jack" (S1 E6)

The Carlyle served as Lombard’s casino.

“Back in the World” (S2 E10)

The Carlyle was used for scenes including the lunch between Crockett, Tubbs, and Ira Stone. Also, Tubbs and Switek visit a junkie in one of the hotel's rooms. It was used for the scene where Crockett and Stone met with the veterans. It was also used as Stone’s hotel.

Atlantis on Brickell Condominium

This building is one of the most iconic from the entire series. It was seen in the opening credits when Olivia Brown's name appeared.

"The Hit List" (S1 E3)

The building was the setting for the scene where the hitman, played by competition shooter Jim Zubiena, kills Castranova and escapes.

"Viking Bikers From Hell" (S3 E22)

It was also the setting for Salazar’s apartment. The Pool scene, where Reb pushes Salazar underwater, was shot in the skycourt.

Other Interesting Information

The Atlantis was designed by the architectural firm named Arquitectonica. In addition to striking architecture all over the world, this firm also designed the Miami Shores area house known as "The Pink House", which was featured prominently in the Miami Vice episode named "No Exit", with Bruce Willis portraying arms dealer "Tony Amato".
